Join Our Parish

Our doors are always open to newcomers. Whether you are a practicing Catholic just moving into the neighbourhood, a Catholic returning to regular practice after a long absence, or a non-Catholic who is curious about what our Church is all about, we have room for you.

Saint John the Baptist Parish is bounded by Lakeshore Road to the south, Guelph Line to the east and the Queen Elizabeth Way to the north and west. If you wish to join the parish, we invite you to complete a Parish Registration Form (below or to the right, whatever the case may be) and submit it on-line.

You can also pick up a form at any entrance to the church. A place is provided on the form to request church envelopes. Completed forms can be dropped off or mailed to the office, or placed in the collection basket at Sunday Mass.

Being a member of our parish enters you into a community of worshippers and friends, with numerous benefits and privileges. You can participate in parish life in many ways, sharing your special gifts and interests with like-minded friends and — most importantly — sharing in Sunday Mass and the sacraments.

If you are non-Catholic and wish to inquire about becoming Catholic, the Church offers a program called the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. It begins with a relaxed, non-structured stage in which inquirers are invited to explore all their questions about the church with practicing Catholics.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate contacting our office at (905) 634-2485 or
